SEATTLE, March 10, 2017—TERA, En Masse Entertainment's flagship MMORPG, will be making its long-anticipated debut on the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system and Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft, in 2017. The console version of TERA brings with it all of the content and feature updates that the game has received over the past five years of live updates on PC.
As the only MMORPG with True Action Combat, TERA's real-time and skill-based gameplay is the perfect fit for consoles. Although the game already supports a gamepad on PC, the console version's control scheme is being redesigned and rebuilt from the ground up to ensure the responsive and visceral combat experience that TERA players and console enthusiasts have come to expect. The game's user interface is also being completely rebuilt for consoles with the controller and living room viewing distances in mind.
‘The past five years of TERA have been fantastic,’ remarked En Masse Entertainment CEO Sam Kim. ‘We have an amazing and ever-growing player base on PC, and we can't wait to share TERA with a brand-new audience on consoles. Everyone at En Masse Entertainment and Bluehole is putting an incredible amount of effort into making sure that console players have the best TERA experience possible on console, and can enjoy the wide range of content the game has to offer.’
